Summer School/Night School:

Q.              Can I go to summer school/night school?

A.               You must check with your counselor to see if you qualify.

 

SAT/ACT:

Q.              Do I need to take the ACT and or SAT?

A.               You must take the ACT and or SAT if you are planning to attend a 4-year college or university and to meet requirements for the Bright Futures Scholarship (the CPT can be replaced for the Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship).

 

Check on child’s progress:

Q.              How can I check on my child’s progress in each class?

A.      See your counselor for a daily or weekly progress report (Can be picked up in guidance).

A.      You may set up a parent/teacher conference through guidance 754-323-0700, or call voicemail at 754-323-0651.

 

FCAT:

Q.              Where can I get help on the FCAT?

A.      Contact your child’s counselor for the most up to date information.

 

Test results:

Q.              Where can I find test results?

A.      Results for the FCAT, ASVAB, and PSAT can be picked up in the counseling office (must show proper ID).

 

Community Service:

Q.              Where can I do my community service?

A.      Community Service must be at a non-profit organization.

 

Schedule Change:

Q.              Can I get a schedule change?

A.      Guidance will have certain times students may get schedule changes.  These times will be announced and enforced.

 

Early Graduation:

Q.              Can I graduate early?

A.      You must check with your counselor for eligibility and requirements.
