Early Graduation
You will need to pick up
forms in guidance from your counselor.
You will need to attach a
letter stating the reason you would like to graduate early. Students must have completed the FCAT. Night school
may not be used to advance the student’s normal graduation date.
All graduation requirements
must be completed by the time indicated by your counselor. A withdrawl form must
be completed at the end of the final 9 weeks. A total
of 40 hours of community service is also required. If all requirements for graduation are not met
the student must continue during the regular school day
Early graduation may limit
the course selection during the last year, and may also also
adversely affect your ability to complete courses or programs (which may be
required for scholarship opportunities).
Students enrolled in Advanced
Placement course(s) must take the AP examination in the spring.
Scholarship deadlines and information are provided to potential graduates during the 3rd and 4th nine weeks of the last year. Therefore, it is the student’s responsibility to continuously stay informed about activities and deadlines. Bright Futures, Prom, Grad Night, etc.
