Senior Class: Your new senior shirts are in! Come and get your shirts in the Media Center or the cafteria during both lunches. they will be selling for $10.50. Come and get them while they last. Senior girls come out and buy your very own "Senior Girls of '09 t-shirts also for $10.

BPA: Attention all students, BPA will be having their first meeting on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 promptly after school. Make sure you bring your club dues and be prepared to plan for a successful year. For more information please report to room 703 during lunch or third period.

National Honor Society: Anyone interested in joining the National Honor Society applications are available to juniors and seniors in the Media Center and room 321 between classes until September 2nd. All members there is a candy sale starting today please pick up your box at the library from Ms. Santiago. Candy money is due on August 29.

Academy of Finance: BrightStar training will be held September 23rd and 25th at 2:45pm - 4:45pm after school for teller and branch manager positions. Student interviews for BrightStar Credit Union teller positions will be held August 27th and 28th after school in room 708. You must be an Academy of Finance student. There is going to be a mandatory meeting in room 708 after school August 27th.

Drama/Thespians: Do you act, sing, dance, paint or design? Are you interestsed in performing and competing? Join us in room 921 on Monday at 2:40 pm for our first Drama and Thespian meeting of the year. We will be discussing this years events and trips.

Girls Soccer: There will be an organizational meeting for all girls wishing to play soccer this season on September 2nd at 2:45pm in room 901.

Student Government: Annual Lock-In will take place next Wednesday after school from 3-6 in the mini-gym. If you want to meet new people, learn valuable leadership skills and eat for free make sure you sign up beginning Wednesday during lunch in the cafeteria. It is free but you must sign up.

SGA: Get ready Falcons for the first student tailgate party which will take place this Friday before our first home game against the Patriots. A special l ticket will be sold Friday during lunch for $4.00. Tailgating begins at 6:15pm with music, gatorade, games and loads of fun. See you at the east side of the stadium.

National Art Honor Society: Interested in becoming part of a professional organization? Flanangan will be starting it's third year of National Art Honor Society. If you are intersted in becoming a member of this distinguished group please pick up an application in Art Room 301. Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 3rd.

Yearbook: Seniors, be sure to get those "stylin" pictures in the yearbook. These pictures must be taken by October 1st in order to be in the yearbook. Make your appointment with JP Potraits.

Future Educators of America: Our first general meeting will be on Thursday, August 28th in room 906 at 2:45pm. Come by and learn about community service and scholarship opportunities. We hope to see you there.
