Summer is a time to relax and read-- what, when, and how you please.

Flanagan High School’s summer reading program 2008 is now on the web, and it’s all about choice. Your choice!! This year’s book list features contemporary young adult novels, graphic novels, and the classics, too. You may choose one or several books from the list or feel free to read books of your own selection. The novels listed here are possible choices for you. (The summer reading program contains an extensive list of titles in a variety of genres to appeal to a wide audience. Some titles may contain mature content. It is recommended that you read book reviews on the web to make informed decisions when selecting books.) You’ll be able to earn extra credit next school year by completing an online review of the book(s) you’ve read. Directions for completing the assessment will be posted on the Flanagan web page this summer, so be sure to check the web page often. Flop down and flip the pages this summer. Dive into an exciting book!
