About us:
Q: What does SGA do?
A: We are in charge of all school activities such as Homecoming and Freshman Invasion. We are also responsible for bringing out school-spirit in all Flanagan students and faculty and communicating activities and ideas with other schools' Student Governments.
Q: Is SGA a big organization?
A: Yes. We are not only in charge of our school's activities, but we also work with other schools.
Q: What are BCASC meetings?
A: These are county meetings held typically in high schools where student leaders from different schools share ideas and experiences that have helped unite and improve their schools so everyone gets a learning experience.
Q: Who is in SGA?
A: The best student representatives who are requesting to be in the leadership class are admitted into the class. Other students run for officer positions and get voted into the organization. We also have some students who attend our general meetings and come to our events; after 72 hours of SGA activities, they are officially a part of Student Government.
Q: Who is in charge of SGA?
A: Our current teacher is Mr. Peter Epstein who is located in Room 911.
Q: I've heard SGA is fun; is this true?
A: Yes! SGA helps you meet and become friends with other determined, responsible, and school-spirited people. SGA is hard work and what we have to get done comes before anything, but when working our activities, we always strive to help everyone in and out of our club have a nice time.
Q: What can I do to become a part of SGA?
A: Come to our general meetings and all of our activities!
