National
Honor Society is a prestigious organization created to promote
scholarship, leadership, service, and character in schools and
communities. The first National Honor Society was founded in 1921
in a small high school in Pennsylvania. For eighty years, National
Honor Society has grown and established chapters across the nation
resulting in membership of over a million high school students.
The Charles W. Flanangan Chapter of National Honor Society consists
of approximately 75 active members! Each year we participate
and sponsor numerous activities that aid our community and school.
Our mission is to set high standards that challenge the minds
of our fellow students because we hope, plan, and will aspire
to immeasurable levels in our lives. |
